Coach Jeremiah “Dub” Williams – Founder of Truth Sports
A Grand Rapids, Michigan native, Coach Jeremiah “Dub” Williams is the founder of Truth Sports and a dedicated mentor in basketball and life. His journey from player to coach is marked by hard work, perseverance, and a passion for developing athletes both on and off the court.
Williams began his college career at Vincennes University, where he played two seasons and earned an Associate’s degree in Business & Administration. He then transferred to Canisius College (NCAA Division I) in Buffalo, New York, where he competed at the highest collegiate level and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications & Digital Arts.
After college, Jeremiah played professionally, signing with the Toronto Raptors’ G-League affiliate and competing internationally with Wellington Basketball Club, a FIBA team in Ontario, Canada. His professional experience gave him valuable insight into the highest levels of competition and player development.
Williams later transitioned into coaching, accepting the role of Associate Head Coach for Olivet College Men’s Basketball, where he continues to mentor and develop athletes. His commitment to player growth, both on and off the court, is at the core of his coaching philosophy. He is passionate about helping athletes maximize their potential, build confidence, and develop leadership skills that will carry them far beyond basketball.
At Truth Sports, Coach Dub is dedicated to instilling strong fundamentals, work ethic, and faith-driven leadership, ensuring every athlete he trains is prepared for success—in the game and in life.
